Supervisor, Clinical Trial Materials

We are seeking a Supervisor, Clinical Trial Materials to join Q² Solutions, IQVIA’s laboratory business in Marietta, GA.

2nd shift - Monday - Friday with a Tuesday - Saturday option

As a Supervisor, Clinical Trial Materials, you will be assisting with the management of staff involved in the assembly and packaging of laboratory test kits used to collect data on clinical trials participants. You will be working in accordance with ICH E6 Guideline for Good Clinical Practice.

What you’ll be doing:

• Supervising the staff involved in the work order printing, material picking, assembly and quality control of protocol specific kits to investigator sites.
• Liaising with Inventory Control staff to ensure that appropriate supplies are available when needed.
• Overseeing the Quality Control process to ensure accurate shipment of clinical trials material, ongoing process of resupplying kits to investigator sites, and continual monitoring and updating.
• Creating and maintaining documentation of hazardous materials shipping documentation according to applicable regulations, Responsible for the training of all staff according to the time guidelines in the clinical trials materials (CTM) training plan.
• Liaising closely with the Project Management group to ensure accuracy of work orders and contents sheets pre-building, particularly at study start up.
• Contributing to the creation and implementation of process improvements and cost saving measures within the CTM function.
• Managing staff in accordance with organization’s policies and applicable regulations, CVs, and training records.
• Providing leadership to team in absence of manager.

What We Are Looking For:

• Associate degree Required.
• Bachelor’s degree Preferred.
• 3-4 years relevant experience including 1 year in a leadership/production capacity.
• Or equivalent combination of education, training, and experience.

The Knowledge, Skills and Abilities needed for this role:

• In-depth understanding of operational production procedures.
• Effective leadership skills.
• Excellent customer service skills and communication.
• Proficiency in using Microsoft platforms, strong organizational skills, and attention to detail.

The potential base pay range for this role, when annualized, is $69,400.00 - $104,100.00. The actual base pay offered may vary based on a number of factors including job-related qualifications such as knowledge, skills, education, and experience; location; and/or schedule (full or part-time). Dependent on the position offered, incentive plans, bonuses, and/or other forms of compensation may be offered, in addition to a range of health and welfare and/or other benefits.
