What will you be doing?

• Lead a team of 6 Big Data Architects

• Make key strategical decisions on our architecture roadmap

• Drive the way we organise and run our big data pipelines

• Consult our technical teams and architects to help them be efficient and overcome most complex problems

• Create team strategy aligned with organizational goals

• Help your team to learn and grow adapting to changing needs

• Hire, manage, motivate, and mentor so your team is successful

• Co-create a culture of collaboration, accountability, and innovation where everyone feels they belong

What is required to get the job done?

• 5+ years of line management experience in software engineering

• 10+ years experience in software and/or product development with a focus on architecture in big data projects

• Very strong people leadership skills

• Self-motivation, initiative, and ability to drive changes to successful end

• Excellent communication skills, ability to communicate most complex problems to different stakeholders

• Experience in enterprise architecture, business information modelling, and system design.

• Strong SQL-based data warehousing experience, supported with modern cloud-based technology solutions

• Experience in applying technology to business strategies.

• Broad knowledge of current technology, tools and techniques for software development.

• Positive can-do attitude

• Being a great team player
